Paraguay takes an active part in the project of diminishing of the quantity of carbonic gas in the air and in the project of wood and paper manufacturing from primary materials grown in artificial plantings.

In the majority of cases the variety eucalyptus Camaldullensis is cultivated. The wood of this type is also used in charcoal manufacturing.

Charcoal factories are built near artificial plantings.

Every 7-8 years the trees are cut and are elaborated. On their place young trees are planted.

Primary materials used for manufacturing of charcoal are pieces of wood of 1 meter of length, which are charged into the oven and burn during 11-12 days with some addition of the air.

Once elaborated the charcoal is taken off the oven, broken to pieces, sorted and then packed.
