Lemon grass is fast growing perennial plant that is cultivated in tropical and subtropical climate as the source of essential oil with lemon aroma.

This essential oil is one of the important industrial products. It is used in soaps and detergents, in cosmetic and perfume industry, in the production of citrale. It is used against some insects.

Chemical and nourishing substances: aluminum, calcium, chrome, fats (7%), iron, magnium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, protein, sodium, vitamin C, silicon.
